Guerra de la Paz: Follow the Leader

The Craft Alliance in St. Louis is hosting an exciting exhibition by Cuban-born artists Alain Guerra and Neraldo de la Paz, who call themselves Guerra de la Paz.  The installation concept and title reference the children's game "Follow the Leader," and suggest critique of social order and hierarchies.

I love the manipulation of discarded clothing to form bodies and wonder what it might smell like...considering we all leave some part of ourselves on our clothing, especially if they are worn for very long.

If you are in St. Louis any time before January 29th, stop by The Craft Alliance and check it out!  Let me know what you think!
